EAN is the retail code used in Europe and the rest of
the World. EAN8, EAN13, 13+2 and 13+5 are supported.
ITF or Interleaved 2 of 5 is used around the World
for shipping and bulk packages (traded units). ITF 14, 14+6 and variable
length ITF are supported. There is also a full range of bearer bar options
and H gauges.
Code
128 is a sophisticated alphanumeric code. Standard Code 128 and the
UCC/EAN implementation are supported.
ISBN bar codes for books is available with the Regular, Two,
Five and K versions.
Graphics capability allows the user to import EPS or PICT
graphics. Images may be scaled proportionally or stretched horizontally
and vertically.
Lines
and boxes can be drawn in one of 5 line thicknesses.
The
Zoom facility lets you view and edit the label at 50%, 100%, 200%
or 400% magnification.
Rotation of all label content is possible in increments of
90º.
The
Import function lets you import label content directly from a tab
or comma delimited text file. Columns in the text file are linked to
fields in the label. Text, bar codes, graphics, numbers and label quantity
may all be imported. In the case of graphics, the text in the text file
must match the name of a graphic file on disk - the graphic in then
imported automatically. The Field Merge facility allows you to merge
the contents of a number of text fields into one field. Empty fields (such
as occur within address databases) can be ignored so that the blank lines
disappear.
